Congratulations to our Ralph C. Wilson Grant Recipients!
The Ralph C. Wilson Agency graciously donated $1000, which was then matched by the VBMA. This allowed the club to award two $1000 grants to help fund students to go to a conference of their choice. The recipients are Kara Myslivec (2009) and Jessica Holland (2009) and both will be going to Las Vegas in February, but will be attending different conferences. Kara will be attending the Western Veterinary Conference and Jessica will be attending the Association of Veterinary Practice Management Consultants and Advisors (AVPMCA).
The Veterinary Business Management Association and Pfizer are proud to kick off the Veterinary Business Management Scholarship. The scholarship will give veterinary students a chance to work in progressive veterinary practices throughout the nation. Twice a year the VBMA will reward a member of the VBMA with a scholarship of up to $1,000. To date, we have awarded four scholarships.
